- About the SpeakerHola! Welcome to my profile. My recent thesis research uncovered the needs of the Latinx immigrant community in North Texas in regards to their mental health and the deficits in the mental health delivery systems models currently employed. Our community tends to not seek help and drop out when they do. A resilience-based solution focused approach serves to HONOR the immigrant experience, and welcome our community to an office reminiscent of the home they left behind years ago. I have presented my research at the 2019 AAMFT conference, and multiple events around the state including TCC campus college, and Dr. Linda Metcalf's school counseling conference in Fort Worth, Texas. Please reach out if you're interested in helping to advocate for the needs of our community.
