About Dr. Jacqueline Guevara, LCSW

Dr. Jacqueline Guevara is a seasoned licensed clinical social worker who practices out of Virginia and Washington D.C. She is the owner of an exclusively online/virtual private practice and specializes in working with first generation Latinx college students and professionals who have experienced trauma. Dr. Guevara also specializes in acculturative stress and its impact on mental health. Some of Dr. Guevara’s training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Brainspotting, and is currently working towards her certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP II). Dr. Guevara has made it her mission, both personally and professionally, to destigmatize mental health especially in Latinx and BIPOC communities. Her goal is to normalize seeking help and empowering people to live the life they deserve.
