Speaker Bio

My name is Claudia Alcala and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been in this profession for over 14 years in multiple settings. I feel passionate about providing support to help navigate first-generation issues, stress management, and career issues. I have extensive experience working with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and parenting challenges.

I believe that Health is Wealth, and that should always include Mental Health. Unfortunately, for some people of color, mental health is often out of reach or stigmatized. I want to help bring awareness to mental health by providing knowledge and support to help make a difference in people’s lives.
